I started selling on Etsy and was doing very well when about 6 months in my sales came to a screeching halt because of the algorithm change. I knew I had to figure something out so I started an Instagram account in hopes that I could make sales that way. I had seen so many other businesses make money from the platform so why couldn’t I?
It wasn’t as easy as it looked but after A LOT of trial and error, I finally figured out how to use Instagram specifically for my product based business and ended up selling $200K worth of t-shirts to my followers before selling my business in June 2020.
