We are heading into the fall season (say what?) and I don’t know why, but that always seems like the perfect time to hit refresh on your Etsy shop.
Giving your shop an update doesn’t need to be overwhelming or expensive. All you need to do is make a few tweaks. Not only does this keep your customers excited about your Etsy shop but it also helps with the algorithm.
Let me show you 3 ways to refresh your Etsy shop without spending tons of money.
Update Your Etsy Banner
This is such an easy (and fun) thing to do! This is the perfect way to display some new products for the upcoming holiday season. Head over to my favorite editing tool and start designing. Just make sure you keep it simple with easy to read fonts and eye catching colors that match your brand aesthetic.
Update Your Brand Colors
Adding a few new colors will totally transform your shop but make sure to keep it in the color family. You want your customers to remember your brand not wonder if it’s the same shop. Use lighter or darker colors than what you already are using. This will ensure that you’re staying within the color family and not straying too far off.
Use Seasonal Mockups
What better time then when the seasons change to use new mockups to display your awesome designs? Using mockups that match the season (and design) is totally important. People buy out of emotion so we need to do our best make our customers feel like they need our products.
Here’s an example: If you have a shirt about pumpkin spice lattes, use a mockup that incorporates cozy sweaters. Pumpkin spice lattes means that the weather is getting cooler and you’ll be wrapped up in a cozy sweater drinking your warm PSL. (ok, now I want a PSL!)
